Secret Bucket Rover

Russians can’t be underestimated in any field and if you are, then let me tell you are making a big mistake. The latest news is that they are going to develop a Bucket Rover. We could only manage to get some images and don’t know about the specification. After looking at images, it seems that it has capacity of two passengers and meant to be used on earth only. Aerodynamics seems be ignored, don’t know why, and car looks a complete replica of a dust bin. It’s almost impossible for me to understand the mechanical part included in the backside, which is exposed when you pull the back door from its handle, similar to that in a bucket.

Russians, really, you are the ultimate entertainers. You have got the spirit to rise above the average mind and find funniest or say strange ways to mould normal things into bizarre. If we missed something then please help us to spot it by giving a close look at the images.

Recycled PCBs

It would have been injustice to these awesome pieces of arts if I had not given them their due place on my blog. Not only esthetically, but environmentally too these recycled PBC sculptures are adorable. Computer geek Steven Rodrig instead of throwing them in landfills chose to turn them into beautiful sculptures. Check out the sea turtle, dragonfly, and shoes made out of old PCBs.

Urban transportation concept

Problems in cities are on rise and probably will grow more and more day by day. Traffic, lack of sufficient space and pollution are few main concerns when we talk about urban life conditions. Therefore, designers and scientists are working on concepts that could be helpful in resolving these problems. Designer Erik Lanuza’s Taurus concept vehicle is an example of this. He has suggested a beautiful space efficient design with Zero emission electric motors for cities.

The Taurus is a self balancing vehicle with sufficient safety mechanisms. By leaning forward and backward the rider can control the speed and change the direction by steering wheel. In brief, we have a safe, eco-friendly and space efficient personal transport vehicle.

Firegard

The best gift of technology, as far as the benefits are concerned, is saving the human life by replacing human with mechanical tools. Firefighting is one such situation in which the officials put their life at risk in rescue operations. According to an estimate, the Berlin Fire Department undertake about 300,000 such operations every year.

The Firegard is intended at reducing the exposure of firefighting officials to extreme conditions such as industrial fire. The Firegard operates via a radio control by anyone sitting at a safe distance from the fire. It has been built to work in any condition and on any terrain. It can provide crucial data through included sensors and cameras. The fire department can easily receive information like the concentration of toxic and explosive mixtures of oxygen in the danger zone, and the dimension and intensity of the fire. In brief, Firegard is a futuristic autonomous robot concept that is targeted at providing better firefighting capabilities without risking the life of officials.
